Jack serves as TCG's chief executive and primary capital allocator. With a background spanning enterprise IT systems, strategic advisory, and operational leadership across the firm's portfolio companies, he brings a multi-disciplinary approach to investment decision-making.
Jack is responsible for deal origination, partner relations, and the long-term strategic direction of Thompson Capital Group. He oversees capital deployment decisions across all four of the firm's investment verticals and leads relationships with co-investment partners, institutional investors, and strategic operators.
His hands-on involvement in the firm's operating companies — including Truett Construction and Truett Roofing — reflects TCG's operator-first philosophy: the principals who allocate capital are the same ones who understand how the businesses actually work.
David serves as a managing principal of Thompson Capital Group, contributing leadership across the firm's investment and operational verticals. His involvement reflects the family's commitment to multi-generational governance and disciplined capital stewardship.
As a member of the family officer council, David participates in major capital decisions, portfolio company oversight, and strategic planning. His perspective complements Jack's capital allocation focus with a grounding in operational accountability — ensuring that investment decisions are always tested against real-world business realities.

In 2004, Rod founded Thompson Consulting Group and built it into a respected government contracting and advisory firm through decades of principled leadership. His standard — that the family name on the door is both the firmest commitment and the most fragile asset — remains the bedrock of how Thompson Capital Group operates today.
Rod's legacy is not captured in a revenue figure or a contract value.
